I qualified as a carpenter and became a Licensed Building Practitioner, then started RNR Homes to do building the right way — on my own, to my own standard.
Turangi is home. My nan was born and raised here, and the connection to this whenua runs deep. That connection shapes how I work: with manaakitanga (care for people), whanaungatanga (relationship), and doing right by the job.
What sets the work apart is simple — I care about the process and the quality. Not just getting it done, but getting it right, from the first measure to the final fix.
Every job gets a full photo record — before, during, after. Nothing hidden. I handle structural and carpentry myself; trusted plumbers, sparkies, painters and plasterers I know well handle their trades. You deal with one builder.
Wall, floor & roof framing documented before lining. Hidden once closed — we photograph it all.
Cavity battens, window/door flashings, membrane details — captured before cladding goes on.
LBP-signed producer statements (PS1/PS3/PS4). Hidden galvanised fixings — no visible screws, no rust.
Completed structural & carpentry work. Painting/plastering completed by trusted trade partners I coordinate. Handover pack emailed: photos, consent docs, warranties.
